Why a website?

I have traditionally shunned the social media platforms but learned to accept them. This website will be my space. It is a chance to share not only what I want, but shape how I present the information. I want this to be the starting point for everything else.

I believe life is the sum of our experiences. And I am here to share my adventures and reflections on them whether it be my time growing up on a Midwest farm, becoming and being an engineer, leading a team of people, or my favorite leisure activities: traveling, reading, skiing, and sailing. I’ll share my thoughts and a few photos along the way.
